Please join PentanetGG in a huge congratulations to our long-time colleague Scott “Westonway” Farmer in his new role as General Manager.

Scott first joined Pentanet GG at the start of 2020 when we announced our inaugural season in the Oceanic Pro League (OPL). Following a successful year of coaching the team, at the beginning of 2021 he spread his wings and flew to France to work as a Coach, which he says was an incredible experience. It wasn’t too long before he missed his Pentanet family and, at the end of his contract in France, Scott joined us right here in Perth as Head of Operations.

“It quickly became clear that Pentanet was different to any other company I’d worked with. The Pentanet team was fun, engaging and everyone was really supportive. I’m extremely happy to be here and to be committing my future to Pentanet.GG.” – Westonway

Utilising his experience coaching Scott will look to ensure that the Pentanet.GG League of Legends team continues their high level of performance, whilst continuing to oversee the companies expansion into the content creation and talent management space.

“The Australian esports and gaming space has never been more ripe for opportunity. With Pentanet.GG’s history making MSI run and expansion into the content creator space, our organisation is set for another year of extensive growth and I appreciate being given the opportunity to play a part in that,” he said.

PentanetGG founder and managing director Stephen Cornish (SC) said Scott is an asset to the team in every sense of the word.

“Since joining the Pentanet family in 2020, Scott has consistently shown his dedication to and passion for esports, and alignment with the Pentanet company values. His global experience combined with strategic approach and drive to see the Pentanet vision come to life makes him the ideal choice for this appointment,” said SC.
