Pentanet.GG officially announces departure from the League of Legends Circuit Oceania (LCO) with a successful slot transfer to newcomers Antic Esports.

Since bursting into the Australian esports scene in 2020 as the Oceanic Pro League’s only West Australian team, Pentanet.GG has time and time again proven the great state of WA can not only stand with the very best in Oceania, but across the globe.

Through the closure of the OPL and our transition over to the LCO and into the COVID-19 pandemic, we continued to thrive. Our 2021 League of Legends team proved that hard work and discipline can achieve dreams, as we became the first Oceanic team to ever make it out of the Groups stage in an international competition when we made MSI Top 6 in Reykjavik, Iceland. Since then, we’ve continued with strong performance throughout our time in the LCO and leave proud of our accomplishments and the memories we’ll carry with us moving forwards.

The time has come to pass the torch to the next generation of talent. We’ll be rooting for Antic Esports to follow in our footsteps and break new ground for the LCO. After all, we’ve left them with some big shoes to fill, and we wish them all the best.

Our departure from the LCO competition doesn’t mean we’re finished in the world of gaming. We have plenty in the works to be excited about, and we can’t wait to share it with you soon.

So, to all of our LoL fans, and all the people in WA and beyond who’ve supported us and helped make the impossible possible, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
