Following the launch of our academy program, PGG.RISE, Pentanet.GG is proud to introduce the roster for our debut season in the 2020 Oceanic Challenger Series (OCS).
The establishment of the PGG.RISE program will enable up-and-coming League of Legends players to improve their skills in-game and gain the competitive edge needed to work towards a career in esports.
The Oceanic Challenger Series is a development competition league as a lead-in to the Oceanic Pro League (OPL) – Oceania’s professional League of Legends circuit. Currently the OCS consists of seven academy rosters and four University teams; QUT, RMIT, UQ and UTS.
Today we are pleased to announce the players selected for our academy program, PGG.RISE.

Stephen Cornish, Founder and Managing Director of Pentanet.GG, reflected on the acquisition of this new roster, particularly the inclusion of WA’s next generation of talent.
“Career pathways for esports and gaming talent haven’t openly existed in Western Australia until now. We’re excited by our draft, and will continue to introduce new talent from the West and into the professional circuit!”
“It’s a great moment to announce our first ever PGG.RISE roster, especially featuring our three Perth players. I can’t wait to see what these guys can do on the rift.”
PGG.RISE will debut against Legacy Genesis on May 28th, 2020 – be sure to connect with us on social media to keep up to date with their progress.
