Hey it’s Pete, General Manager for Pentanet.GG – sorry I haven’t been in touch in a little while, we’ve been rather busy…. HAVING THE GREATEST PRO LEAGUE OF LEGENDS SEASON EVER!
Pentanet.GG LCO in Review (Round 1 of Split 1, 2021)
I’m coming to you live from week four of the LCO, the new League of Legends professional oceanic competition, and with a clinical win over our arch-rivals the Dire Wolves I am beyond excited to say that PGG have officially locked in a finals appearance – the first team of the split to do so, and the only team to do it with a 9-0 undefeated run so far.
We’ve had an absolutely cracking start to 2021 with BioPanther, Praedyth, Pabu, and our new recruits in Chazz and Decoy dominating across the rift.
It by no means has been easy with opposition teams rising to the challenge and PGG having had plenty to live up to being touted as the team to beat coming into the newly launched LCO, but we’ve lived up to the hype and I’m so proud of the display our lads have put on not just in game, but outside as professionals representing the mighty orange and black!
The best performance of the split has got to be the banter – it’s been impressive watching PGG pick apart teams whilst being interviewed by the LCO broadcast team, but even better to see them back it up.
This week we continue our run towards MSI with games against the El Classico duo of Legacy and Chiefs. Legacy were 2020’s best performing team and the Chiefs are always a force to be reckoned with so we’re looking forward to these matches being nice practise for the big dance at the end of the season.
I’ve only got one other thing to say though…. Pabu, when are we going to see this Amumu pick?
Game on legends, see you in the rift!
Pete
